Yasmin Khan- Cosmetic Practice Development Consultant.

Former International Sales Manager for Inamed Aesthetic (Facial Aesthetic Division) now merged with Allergan and Director of K-T Solutions Ltd. Yasmin presently provides business management consulting services to the physician market. She is the author of "Simple Steps to Building Million Dollar Cosmetic Practices”, the first cosmetic business manual.

Ms. Khan's objective for candidates who participate in any of K-T training courses is to ensure that the candidates are provided with all the resources needed to start a successful clinic for the long term success. Her goal is to make sure that when you return to your local market, your message to the public gets heard.

Dr. Peter Ilori is a specialist in orthodontics and facial aesthetics. In 2001, he was awarded the MBA with distinction from Brunel University in
Uxbridge. He is the founder /owner of The Beauty Society and the Beauty in Colour project. The recently published Beauty Society Magazine
is the first patient focused publication in the medical aesthetics industry. He is involved in the development of aesthetic and cosmetic enhancement protocols for clients of all skin types and has membership in the Association of Facial Aesthetics (AFA).

Dr. Nick Milojevic

was exposed to the world of aesthetic medicine from a very early age , visiting his father’s clinic, attending plastic surgery conferences, and assisting him with operations as soon as he started medical school. His father , Professor Bosko Milojevic was one of the European pioneers of modern plastic surgery, and opened  the first private plastic surgery clinic  in 1967  in the  capital of Croatia , Zagreb.

Dr Nick Milojevic studied for his medical degree at The Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in London from 1990-1995, gaining an MBBS degree. He then  completed a specialisation in general surgery  and  general practice   , culminating in specialisation and studying for a diploma of   aesthetic medicine , continuing the family tradition and therefore pursuing his lifelong passion and ambition.
 
Dr Milojevic is the owner of the MILO CLINIC(www.miloclinic.com ) in London, which  is a non-surgical aesthetic clinic specialising in an array cutting edge treatments aimed to rejuvenate the face , body and mind .
 He also works for the Harley Medical Group where over the last 4 years he has gained enormous amounts of experience , treating as many as 40 patients per day. He has become recognised as a leading expert in this field, often giving expert quotes  in magazines and newspapers and making TV appearances. The Daily Express recently  named him to be the top expert for botox in the UK.  He has a unique and  modern approach to this fast growing field of medicine , which he believes to be the future of Plastic surgery.

Dr Milojevic is an expert trainer and teacher, and has a brilliant hands on teaching style, passing on his experience , skill and small secrets, which make all the difference to our candidates.

Prof. Syed E. Haq

Dr Haq is a registered physician that has private practices in Harley Street and Blackheath, London (as part of Aquitaine Aesthetics – www.aquitaineaesthetics.com), and San Remo, Italy, where he specialises in Aesthetic and Cosmetic Medicine. Dr Haq has had extensive experience in Aesthetics and Medicine in the United Kingdom and USA, training under some of the foremost authorities and experts in their fields.

Dr Haq is a member of the Medical Education Faculty, and a National Opinion Leader, for BioForm Medical, the manufacturers of the dermal filler/sculpting agent – RadiesseTM. Dr Haq’s strong belief in medical education and training.

Dr Haq studied Medicine at the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy’s and St.Thomas’s Hospitals (UMDS), London University, where he graduated from in 1993. In 1996, he became a member of the Royal College of Physicians, MRCP(UK). Dr Haq received training in plastic surgery in 1994 at Guy’s Hospital and then went on to train in Medicine at the Royal Brompton and Hammersmith Hospitals, London. In 1997, he was awarded a prestigious Clinical Training Fellowship from the Medical Research Council, UK to study for a doctorate of philosophy (Ph.D.) at Imperial College University and the Royal Brompton Hospital. In 1999, Dr Haq moved to the USA where he studied as a Fellow at the world famous Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA. In 2002, Dr Haq was appointed to the position of Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tufts University, New England Medical Center Hospitals, Inc (one of the leading medical institutions on the east coast of the USA).

In addition to his many achievements, Dr Haq is an authority on cellular signalling and factors regulating cellular growth, survival and hypertrophy. He has published a number of peer-reviewed articles in several internationally renowned scientific journals e.g. including the prestigious Nature Medicine (Haq et al., 2003). To date, he has published over 30 peer-reviewed scientific publications and his work has been cited in over 560 peer-reviewed published articles worldwide.

During his career Dr Haq has been an invited speaker at numerous international conferences, has acted as an ad hoc peer-reviewer for a number of the foremost scientific and clinical journals including, Journal of Biological Chemistry, Circulation, the Journal of Clinical Investigations, and has received over twenty one national and international awards, prizes and scholarships. They include the American Heart Association (AHA) Young Scientist Development Grant for his work in the field of cellular growth and repair. In 2001, he was awarded first prize and title “New England Young Investigator of the Year”. Furthermore, in 2001 he was awarded second prize in the Louis N. and Arnold M. Katz Prize for Young Investigator of the Year (Anaheim California, USA), as well a Wellcome International Prize Fellowship. In 2002, he was awarded second prize in the Jay N. Cohn Award for his work on b-catenin by the HFSA in Boca Raton Florida, USA (the work involved a joint collaboration with the Cutaneous Biology Research Center, Massachusetts General Hospital).

Dr Haq understands that aesthetic medicine in the UK is one of the fastest growing limbs within medicine and surgery, and for that matter, it will be important for trainees to be provided with the highest levels of aesthetic training so that clinical standards can be maintained and improved in the future.

Mr. Andrew Rankin

RGN-Medical Aesthetics Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Prescriber who runs a successful practice in Worcester.

Andrew originally qualified as a Registered General Nurse at Hammersmith hospital in London He specialised in ITU, and completed a specialist course in cardio-thoracic ITU at the Royal Brompton hospital in Chelsea, London.

He has worked in Intensive Care at Worcester , Gloucester and Cheltenham hospitals and also in the middle east.

He received a 1st class honours degree from Worcester University

Andrew also provides mentorship and development for delegates and assists Surgeons, Dentists, Doctors and Nurses to perfect their skills.

Dr. Stephen Basset

Dr. Basset is a front-line doctor with 20 years experience in medicine.

He graduated from UWCM in 1992 with an additional First Class Honours degree in pharmacology, specialising in the hormonal pharmacology of skin pigments.

Previously an emergency physician at Swansea NHS Trust until 1996, and until 2003 a partner and GP Trainer at the Sketty and Killay Medical Partnership, the largest medical practice in Wales. During his partnership, he led on prescribing, Chaired the Swansea Bay Consortium, and set up a busy acupuncture clinic, successfully treating hundreds of patients.

In order to pursue legal and ethical studies, in 2004 Dr. Basset took the lawyers’ Common Professional Exam with Distinction and the Hammicks Prize for Best Student, and was called to the Bar in 2005 at the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn.

Dr. Basset provides emergency medical care to the people of Swansea at Swansea OOH Service, where I have been Chairman of Council since our establishment. He is a member of the Local Medical Committee and an Appraiser of GPs in Wales.

Dr. Basset has integrated his medical and legal skills in the field of mediation, and am currently an accredited mediator with the UK’s largest mediation provider, the ADR Group, and also a member of the Family Mediator’s Association.

He brings this passion for quality to his cosmetic practice, and has trained to advanced level with the best.Dr. Basset has published articles on law in cosmetic medicine in the leading journal, Bodylanguage, and will be speaking to an international audience on this subject at FACE 2009.

Jacquie Macauley

Jacquie Macauley is a Specialist Aesthetic Nurse who began her career as a registered nurse and midwife. She is a member of the Royal College of Nursing Dermatology Nursing Forum and the Aesthetic Nursing Medicine Group. Her experience covers skin care, product and protocol development for cosmetic/beauty treatments, make-up, laser and intense pulsed light therapies, Botox®, dermal fillers, chemical peels, mesotherapy and colonic hydrotherapy. Jacquie is a trainer in the field of aesthetic medicine and also has a special interest in Afro-Therapy and the management of problems unique to clients of pigmented skin types.

Malti O'Mahony

Malti O’Mahony has more than 10 years of aesthetic experience and is recognised not only as being one of the top injectors in Europe but as a leading professional in Mesotherapy. She is also involved in training, workshops, international lecturing and setting standards for practitioners within aesthetic industry. Furthermore she participated in the development of RCN competencies in Aesthetic Medicine.

Dr. Jacques Le Coz and in Barcelona under Dr. Ordiz. After researching drug protocols and vitamin regimens in the United Kingdom, Malti developed more advanced techniques and formulas for treating cellulite & other various conditions. Dr. Zohra Zaidi-Dermatologist

needs no introduction; she is a well-known figure in the field of academics.It was a pleasure when she joined us at the Civil Hospital in August 1997. Due to her stoic nature and pleasant personality she quickly became popular amongst the patients, students and the colleagues.
Dr Zaidi taught the postgraduate students on an honorary basis. Her book ‘Manual of Dermatology’ speaks volumes of her work and authority on the subject. The book has received accolades from senior dermatologists of the country.
Dr Zaidi supervised clinical and drug trials in the department. Her papers are published in journals of repute. Dr Zaidi is very thorough in the work given to her. She works with dedication and honesty. These qualities make her a standard for the others to follow.

RGN is a Medical Aesthetic Practitioner and practises as an independent practitioner and consults with the Hospital Group in Bromsgrove, Harley Street, London, and Deans Gates Manchester. Dr. Ronnie Cooper-Dermatologist

Dr. Ronnie Cooper is Dermatologist and Aesthetic Physician with over 20 years experience. As well as practicing in large multicultural communities in the London area, Dr. Cooper also runs several island clinics in the Caribbean and has completed short stints in exotic parts of Africa.  A native of Montserrat he graduated from the University of the West Indies and received his initial dermatological training in London between 1987 and 1991.
