What Should You Ask Before You Choose Your Medical Aesthetics Training?

KT Training Frequently Asked Questions.

How long are the courses?

Each KT procedure training course is a full day.

We DO NOT provide half day courses since it is impossible for each candidate to receive sufficient patient assessment and hand-on experience to reach a level of confidence with each treatment area.

KT Training courses start at 09:30a.m and are scheduled to finish at 5:30p.m. Occasionally, we do run over time by half hour to an hour.

Will i receive hands on practical training with patients?

Yes you will.

How much time on the course is dedicated to practical patient treatment?

The KT Training practical demonstration begins at 12:30 and after lunch all participants will received hands on injection training under the guidance of our trainers.

How much does each course cost?

Introduction Botox Training=£650 plus VAT

Introduction Dermal Fillers Training=£650 plus VAT

Chemical Peels Training=£550 plus VAT

Mesotherapy training=£550 plus VAT

Voluma Training=£650 plus VAT

Advanced Botox and Dermal Fillers Training=£1000 plus VAT

We currently have a 10% discount when you book 2 or more courses.

Who are your trainers?

K-T Trainers are Professional Cosmetic Doctors and Nurses who provide these treatments daily and who run successful practices on their own. They are not medical professionals who rarely administer these treatments themselves.

Do you provide patients/models?

KT Training provide a wide range of patients of different ages, skin types and genders to provide you with real life practical training experience in a clinical scenario.

Can I bring my own patient/model for treatments?

You can bring a model on the training day (Please notify us in advance as we have an appointment system)

Is there a charge for the product I use?

We DO NOT charge YOU for the products used we do charge the models a nominal fee. ( this service is provided at discount rate if you would like to bring your own model).

Where are the courses held?

All KT Medical Aesthetics procedure training courses are held:

In Harley Street, London-Swindon-High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

Do i get reliable business and marketing advice?

Yasmin Khan author of "Simple Steps to Building Million Dollar and Successful Cosmetic Practices" provides KT delegates with business guidance and marketing advice which has proven invaluable to past delegates.

Do i receive any practice start up support?

KT provide a Medical Aesthetics start up business disc which contains example of patient documents as follows: (treatment plans, medical history forms , consent form), marketing and business templates and presentations material, including brochure templates, advertising and promotion documents plus much more.

Do i receive pre-course material?

All delegates receive pre-course material to review.(you do not have to review this material, but it highly recommended to do so).

Plus e-learning courses for each procedure course you attend to enhance your practical training day

Do i get insurance advice and support?

KT Training courses are recognised internationally. In the UK we are registered training company with Hamilton and Fraser who are the leading medical indemnity cover providers in the UK.

We will provide advice on quotes and give you all the insurance application forms and advice on your clinic start up disc.

What area's will I be trained to treat?

The courses cover the following:

Botox Training-Glabellar-Forehead and Peri Orbital (crows feet-side of eyes).

Dermal Fillers Training-Lips, Nasal Labia, Oral Commissures, Scar Revision and Fine Lines.

Chemical Peels Training-Face, Neck, Decoilete and Hands

Which products will i be using at the training course?

KT Training provide the following:

Botox training: Botox/Vistabel and Xeomin/BOCOUTURE(we will also discuss Azzalure).

Dermal Fillers:Surgiderm 24XP/ Surgiderm 30XP, Juvederm Ultra,we will also discuss Belotero and Restylane. The Surgiderm /Juvederm Ultra dermal fillers range in our experience is the best product for new practitioners and are also still favoured by experienced practitioners due to its versatility, safety and more natural results.

Chemical Peels Training: Neostrata AHA, Skin Tech Easy TCA these three products will enable you to treat most skin types effectively.

How many attendees at each course?

KT Training have limited places for each course lecture, delegates are then split into small groups and will receive 1 to 1 practical hands on training with a range of patients.

Do you update previous course attendees with new information and resources?

We like to keep in touch, if we hear of new resources or opportunities that may be of benefit we will send this information sent out if you choose to be part of or free information and business update new letter.

Do you provide support after the course?

We do offer support post course, we have skilled nurses who will come to your practice for your further development, A free medical aesthetics forum for all K-T Delegates to discuss issues regarding all procedures. Plus any issues you can contact us directly.

Do you provide prescription support for qualified nurses?

We do not directly provide this service.

Some medical aesthetic doctors who have completed botox training will provide this service to qualified nurses who have completed courses. *Nurses should review the current NMC guidelines regarding botulinum toxins and prescribing these products for nurses.

We strongly recommend to nurse who wish to practice independently that they attend and complete the V300 nurse prescribing course.
