The UK market was moving in the same pattern as the US 10 years previously, were saturation of physicians practicing medical aesthetics had made the business very competitive and effective marketing and promotion had to be part of every medical aesthetics practice's business development plan.

In 2005 the volume of practitioners have increased and the new clients available have not increased as dramatically in relation to new clinicians The market has now become more competitive, practices now need to understand how to stand out by promoting and marketing themselves cost effectively to increase and secure their client database to develop their medical aesthetics business.
